In 2001, two mountain biking enthusiasts decided Minnesota needed more modern trails. Trails built for the present and future, with sustainability and mixed user groups in mind.

They formed Trail Source, and played a key role in the conception and creation of Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Trails.
